Renee's 1st X-Ray

2 days ago, renee went for her 1st xray and i hope it will be a long long long time again till she has to do it again...( hopefully by then, it'll be a pre-employment check-up for her! )

For the past 2 months or so, renee has been making this weird breathing sound. It sounded as if she has difficulty breathing and she does it everyday..all the time except when she's sleeping. We brought her in to see the PD and she says it could be few possibilities.

She told us we could monitor her progress or we would get an xray done to see if there's anything stuck at her windpipes..but then again..she says if its not really bothering her, then we could just monitor her. As, if we took an Xray and nothing is found..the next step maybe to do a scope to look down her windpipes!! OMG scope for a baby??

We decided to monitor the situation.. Then a few days later, the PD called us..she's been thinking about Renee and her breathing and felt rather uncomfortable bout it..so she asked us in to get an Xray done, to be on the safe side. Coz she felt it was rather unusual for a baby to make such a noise day in , dayout..

It was such an ordeal for renee to go thru the Xray..we had to hold her down and lift her chin up so that her throat can be captured as well! She cried and cried and cried!! I felt so bad for her!
Well, the xray showed nothing so the PD suggested we do a scope..hmm...so sad.

We've decided to have another PD specialising in respiratory check her when we go back to Singapore later this month. I hope its nothing...
